What the artist said about his project, he said, “So my dude made this track and I instantly knew what I wanted to do with it. I knew I needed to have it done soon too because summer time was coming up fast! I knew the feature had to be local because we would need to shoot the video soon.
I wanted to work with someone new, not a friend or a friend of a friend, someone completely new to my circle. I think it helps me grow creatively working with new people, and it also helps us both expand our circles. Anyway, I dug through Instagram and found Cello and hit him up and sent him a demo, he demoed out a verse and sent it back and we hit the studio the next week, then filmed the video like a week and a half after that. It was super fast and worked pretty smoothly..”
