Lil Nas X‘s breakout song “Old Town Road” just broke the record for longest-running number one single in history. Countless remixes have been made of the song with musicians from Billy Ray Cyrus to Mason Ramsey and Young Thug. Lil Wayne is the most recent rapper to make his own version of the song.
Though Weezy’s remix was leaked earlier this week, the rapper embraced the early release and performed the song in full during his set at Lollapalooza. Lil Wayne replaces Mason Ramsey’s verse in his version of the remix and raps alongside Young Thug. Watch fan-captured footage of the “Old Town Road” remix below.

Lil Wayne performed at Lollapalooza after being on a North American tour with Blink-182. But for a bit, it seemed as though Weezy might back out of the tour. Lil Wayne told the crowd during his set in Bristow, Virginia that he wasn’t used to playing to a small crowd, and that he might leave the tour. “I just want the people to know, if you wondering, please forgive me but I am so not used to performing to a crowd and there’s not too many, you know, like still… That’s not my swag. I’m not sure how long I’m gonna be able to do this tour, but make some noise to Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night, though. Let’s go.”
Weezy later rescinded his statement on Twitter, saying he won’t be quitting because he’s “having too much fun with my bros Blink-182.”
