On your birthday, you are supposed to get wishes and presents from your family members and friends. But here is a unique entertainer, who offers a gift on his own birthday.
He is Jungkook, the youngest member of K-pop superstar BTS. On his 22nd birthday of September 1, he thanked his fans for sending well-wishes and released his own original song on Twitter to get 7 million views in less than 14 hours.
“If our ARMYs didn’t exist, I wouldn’t be as happy as I am on a day like today,” he wrote. “I searched up all the things that you did for me; thank you so much…There really were so many. Honestly, that I would receive well wishes from so many people (from my beloved ARMYs) is something that still amazes me, and sometimes doesn’t feel real.”
The artist noted that he normally puts up a cover on his birthday but this year he is releasing a new short original song.
The untitled English-language song is sung mostly in Jungkook’s lower register. And fans as well as his bandmates showered him with love through the social-networking site.
