In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artists BD3 and Unkle Nephew and their brand new singles titled “Why Do U Luv Me” and “For the Ancestors”.
Sunnydale, the just released EP by TREW CULTURE members UNKLE NEPHEW (drummer, producer) and BD3 (songwriter, MC), is a reminder of how refreshing the 90’s combo of Hip Hop and RnB was. “Sunnydale” gives us that with a definite 2020 twist. The 2 videos of ‘Why Do U Luv Me”, a summery love song reinforcing optimism and appreciation, and “For the Ancestors”, a tale of an abusive and unhealthy relationship but not between 2 people. You have to watch the videos to understand between whom. This musical and subject matter diversity is just an example of the range of the Sunnydale EP.
