Ashley Syd is a singer/songwriter from the suburbs of Philadelphia. Heavily influenced by artists such as Rihanna, Luther Vandross, and Alicia Keys, Ashley embraces her Contemporary R&B sound. After her debut in 2020, Ashley Syd is back again with her new single “2003”, out now.
This time oriented, nostalgic single is oozing with a dark, almost haunting instrumental, accompanied by undulating vocals. Syd illustrates a simple picture of a girl yearning to teleport to a happier, simpler time in her life.
