In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Jatan Love and his brand new single titled “Sweet Christmas”.
It was Jatan’s grandmother who introduced her to music and singing at the age of 4, but it wasn’t until the tragic passing of her best friend in September 2019 that she decided to pursue music full time. What began as writing a song just to cope with her loss, became a passion that could no longer be ignored. So Jatan chose to stop her medical training to focus solely on music and began working towards her EP as a promise to her late grandfather she lost in September 2020. Traveling back and forth to Miami from her South Carolina home several times and continually writing has given Jatan all of the material she needs to make her Self Love EP everything she hoped it could be. She can’t wait for everyone to hear what she’s been working on and says “I just want these songs to be comfort food, healing, and good vibes for the soul. Raising those frequencies you know? I truly hope everyone enjoys it! Gone get jiggy with it! Join me and help me heal hearts while getting jiggy, my heart healers.”
